SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Dickinson College women's track and field team closed out a very productive indoor regular season with a strong showing at the SU Tune-Up hosted by Susquehanna University.
Sprints
Lily Cusa would finish off the Top-10 for the 60m hurdles with a time of 10.37.
She then returned to the track for the 200m taking 16th at 29.12, while
Emma Dice clocked in at 30.98 for 26th.
Dice would then just miss the Top-10 during the 400m claiming 11th by crossing the line in 1:07.44.
Distance
Emma Lewis showed up well in the 3000m earning 12th with a 12:32.62.
Field
The shot put saw a pair of Devils compete with
Jenna Deep taking seventh thanks to a heave of 10.27m, followed by
Sarah Glickson in 27th (7.90m). The same duo competed in the weight throw with Deep winning the event with a Dickinson record-breaking toss of 14.69m, while Glickson completed the Top-20 at 10.37m.
At the jump pit, it was all about
Annie Leder as she won both the long jump (5.64m) and triple jump (11.27m).
Special Event
Amiyah Priebe headed to State College to compete in the mile run at the Penn State University Tune-Up. In a field with athletes from all three divisions she did exceptionally well claiming sixth out of the 30-plus athlete field thanks to a time of 5:06.87.
Next on the Track
The Red Devils return to action next Saturday when they head to Franklin and Marshall College for Day One of the Centennial Conference Championship beginning at 1pm.
