Devils Continue Spring Campaign With Strong Performance at Coach Pollard Invite

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Dickinson women's outdoor track and field team claimed a pair of victories and collected a number of Top-10 finishes in a variety of events on Friday afternoon at the Coach Pollard Invite hosted by Moravian University.

Sprints
The 100m was where Emily Chaine finished 20th with a time of 13.40, while Catarina Acosta nabbed 30th (14.17). With hurdles added to the distance Annie Leder grabbed a seventh-place result by stopping the clock in 16.11, followed by Lily Cusa in 17th (17.39) and Sylvie McMaken-Marsh two spots later at 17.65.

Erin Olsavsky made her way on the podium during the 200m by hitting the line at 25.74 which was good for third.  

In the 400m, Maddie Brown found herself within the Top-10 claiming seventh thanks to a 58.54. Lily Swain then went to the track for the 400m hurdles earning ninth with time of 1:08.14, while Cusa hit at 1:11.82 for 14th.

Distance
The 800m saw just one Devil compete as Marley Kurey barely missed the podium claiming fourth (2:20.87).

Elizabeth Barbash completed the Top-3 for the 3000m steeplechase clocking in at 11:36.24.

Dickinson picked up a victory for 5000m thanks to Amiyah Priebe and her time of 18:09.11. 

Relays
The Red and White used the team of Chaine, Leder, Olsavsky and Swain to take home seventh in the 4x100m. 

Dickinson's second win of the meet came during the 4x400m where Brown, Chaine, Kurey and Swain hit the line in 4:03.92.

Field
At the throwing area, the trio of Damien Labrada, Jenna Deep and Sarah Glickson all did battle in the shot claiming 17th (10.68m), 29th (9.78m) and 35th (8.61m). Deep was the only member of the Red and White for the hammer taking sixth with a toss of 41.11m. Labrada and Deep were back at it in the discus grabbing second (31.88m) and 12th (26.64m) respectively. 

In the jump pit, Leder earned second for the long jump after posting a mark of 5.87m, before nabbing tenth in the triple jump at 10.91m. 

Next on the Track
The Red Devils return to action next Saturday for the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg University beginning at 9am.
