DALLAS, Pa. - The Dickinson men's cross-country team started their 2024 season with a bang on Friday night by winning the Misericordia Invitational.
The Red Devils had seven runners finishing in the top-10 in the 103 runner field, with Brock Overlander leading the devils in second place overall with a time of 12:32.40. Nathan Caldwell followed close behind in third (12:36.90) and Alexander Kane crossed in fifth (12:43.20). Rounding out the Top-10 were Alex Hansen (12:45.50), Atticus Fair (12:49.90), Luke Knestout (12:51.20) and Nolan Meincke (12:51.50) who took up slots seven through ten. Five more members of the Red and White landed within the Top-25:  Matthew Dietrick (12:57.50), Mason Macek (13:00.50), William Kane (13:17.70), Trevor Richwine (13:26.10) and Romario Cruz (13:32.50).
Edward Liszka (13:47.70), Matthew Colden (13:54.00), Joel Tataschuk (14:08.20) Jack Cruikshank (14:12.10), Son Nguyen (15:04.70), Andrew Edwards (15:23.40), Josh Penny (15:26.70) and Tyler Erdman (15:44.20) also competed in the event.
The Red Devil men took the team title with a score of 25, while second place Marywood ended with a total score of 53. The overall winner of the event was Bryce Ryder (12:29.90) of Marywood.

The Red Devils return to the course next Friday, September 6th on their home track in the Little Three Championships starting at 6:00pm.
