How We Got Here - The Red Devils entered Saturday's regular season finale at conference foe Bryn Mawr College knowing that they were heading to the postseason, but also realizing that their seeding fate was not in their hands. Three matches would impact whether or not DC had the opportunity to host on Tuesday. The Red and White and the Owls were the first contest to kickoff on the day and thanks to goals for
Mckenna Gross and
Maddie St. Amand coupled with a healthy 24-1 advantage in shots (13-1 on target). Dickinson exited Applebee Field with a 2-1 win. After Franklin & Marshall posted a 1-0 home win over Washington College, the Devils hope of a home match rested on the shoulders of Haverford and Swarthmore. With DC hoping for a draw things looked rough with a half-hour left as the Fords held a 1-0 edge. However, Nicole Jensen was able to clean up a rebound in the 74th minute to secure the draw and the home fixture for the Red and White.
What's At Stake - A win for the Devils would send them to Friday's Semifinals at either top-seeded Johns Hopkins (13-2-3, 9-1-0 CC) or second-seeded McDaniel (11-3-3, 7-1-2 CC). Dickinson's destination would be determined by the winner of the other match on Tuesday between No. 3 seed Franklin & Marshall (8-4-6, 6-1-3 CC)Â and No. 6 Haverford (11-5-2, 5-3-2 CC). Those two sides played a 3-3 match on September 25th in Haverford.

How We Got Here - Much like the women's team the Red Devil men entered Friday's regular season finale at Johns Hopkins University knowing that they were heading to the postseason, but also understanding that a win over the 15th-ranked Blue Jays would cinch the third-seed and guarantee the home match. Unfortunately, a brace for
Saul Iwowo in the second half was not enough to help the Devils recover from a tough first period as they fell in the Charm City by a score of 4-2. Dickinson went into scoreboard watching mode on Saturday needing certain results to clinch the three or four seed and garner that home date. Unfortunately, the day did not get off to a great start as Muhlenberg collected a 4-0 win over McDaniel in Allentown to lockdown the number three seed. However, all hope was not lost for the Red and White as their focus shifted to Lancaster and Franklin & Marshall's matchup with Washington College. A win or draw for the Shoremen would vault them ahead of the Devils and make DC take the long and arduous three hour journey to Chestertown on Tuesday. Fortunately, an 86th-minute goal by Thomas Kaplan gave F&M the 2-1 win and forced WAC to make the long trip to Carlisle.
What's At Stake -Â A win for the Devils would send them to Friday's Semifinals at either top-seeded Johns Hopkins (11-3-3, 7-1-1 CC) or second-seeded Franklin & Marshall (9-1-7, 7-1-1 CC). Dickinson's destination would be determined by the winner of the other match on Tuesday between No. 3 seed Muhlenberg (10-3-5, 4-1-4 CC)Â and No. 6 McDaniel (9-6-2, 4-4-41 CC). This will be a rematch from this past Saturday at the same venue where Muhlenberg came away with a 4-0 win.
