Women's Tennis Has Strong Finish With 8-1 Win

(Bryn Mawr, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's tennis team closed out the season with an 8-1 win at Bryn Mawr College on Saturday.

The Red Devils swept the doubles matches, 8-3, 8-5, 8-3, and claimed five singles flights on the day.

Joana Nunes (Carcavelos, Portugal/St. Julian's) and Madison Parks (Denton, Md./North Caroline) turned in dominant wins in second and third singles with scores of (6-2, 6-0) and (6-0, 6-0), respectively. They captured top doubles as well.

Jaclyn Baum (Ashland, Mass./Ashland) and Madeleine Kuhns-Baione (Glen Ridge, N.J./Glen Ridge) combined for the win in third doubles and earned points with wins at fifth and sixth singles.

Olivia Shea (West Hartford, Conn./Kingswood Oxford) win fourth singles and joined junior Lauren Altschuler (Malvern, Pa./Eastern) for the win in second doubles.

The Red Devils finish the season 6-9 overall and 5-5 in the Centennial Conference.
