CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's tennis team continued their push towards a Centennial Conference postseason berth on Wednesday afternoon by shutting out the visiting Gettysburg College Bullets by a score of 7-0 at the Hays Tennis Courts
Doubles (DEVILSÂ 3-0)
The first two matches ended with identical scorelines of 6-1 as the third pair of
Izzy Desjardins and
Chloe Heller along with the top until made up of
Jenna Crain and
Natasha Sharnoff clinched the doubles point for the Red and White. Dickinson finished off a flawless doubles when
Alisa Steele and
Loretta Szych playing at the third slot took care of Eden Levkov and Emma Ward.
Singles (DEVILS 6-0)
Anabelle Armendarez began things by taking down Harper Wood in the sixth spot (6-1, 6-0). The next to finish was
Chloe Heller at four where she defeated Shoshi Dondes in straight sets (6-0, 6-0). Sharnoff allowed three games to Levkov during a 6-2, 6-1 victory at third singles, while Steele playing at the second flight posted an identical scoreline in her triumph over Ward. Crain (1st) pushed the team lead to 6-0 in a 6-3, 6-1 win over Sarah Guistwite. The longest match of the day came at the number five spot where Szych needed a 7-2 tiebreaker win in the first set to claim a 7-6 win, before claiming the second 6-3. Â

Dickinson (9-3, 3-1 Centennial) continues conference play on Saturday morning at 11am when they head to Haverford College for a matchup with the Fords.
