HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Dickinson women's tennis team had their three-match Centennial Conference win streak come to a halt on Saturday afternoon when the 50th-ranked Fords of Haverford College posted a 7-0 victory over the Red and White inside of Alumni Field House.
Doubles (Fords 3-0)
The third duo of
Izzy Desjardins and
Chloe Heller claimed the most games for the Devils during that portion of the match as Erika Phanord and Caroline Gay picked up a 6-2 win. Then, at the two line
Alisa Steele and
Loretta Szych grabbed one game off of Lucy King and Abhishree Menon in a 6-1 defeat, while
Jenna Crain and
Natasha Sharnoff were blanked 6-0 at the top flight.
Singles (Fords 6-0)
The home side pushed it to 2-0 when Mallika Reddy knocked off Sharnoff at the third slot by scores of 6-2, 6-1. The next match to finish was Steele and King with the Ford coming out on the good side of a 6-0, 6-1 win. Heller would grab a total of six games from Phanord in identical 6-3, 6-3 setbacks at number four. Crain in the top flight gave all she had against Rachael Fitzgerald, but was unable to come up with the win dropping a 6-4, 6-3 decision. Szych at five and
Anabelle Armendarez in sixth flight combined to win eight games in straight set defeats.

Dickinson (9-4, 3-2 Centennial) returns to non-conference play on Friday afternoon at 4pm when they host Sweet Briar College on the Hays Tennis Courts.
