Tursi stole third and came in to score as Luke Besse (Marston Mills, Mass./Barnstable) reached on an error by the pitcher to pull the Devils within one.

Zakszeski led-off the fifth inning with a single and later came around to score off the bat of Jeff Lynch to stretch the lead to 4-2.

The Devils got one back in the seventh as Mike DeVivo (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) doubled down the left field line and came in on a single from Steven Haynes (Mt. Kisco, N.Y./Horace Greeley).

Six different Devils recorded hits. Tursi led the way with a hit, run scored and an RBI.

Zakszeski went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored to lead Hopkins as they improved to 18-2 overall and 3-0 in the Centennial Conference.
