Women's Tennis Rolls Past Ursinus 9-0

(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson College women's tennis team rolled to a 9-0 win over visiting Ursinus College while the men captured an 8-1 decision on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils captured all three doubles flights, 8-1, 8-6, 8-6. They went on to capture singles in straight sets as they improve to 3-4 overall and 1-1 on the Centennial Conference.

Sophomore Alysia Rodgers (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) led the way with wins in the top doubles (8-1) and singles flights (6-0, 6-3).

The Red Devil men followed up a 9-0 win over Messiah on Friday afternoon with a conference win over Ursinus on Saturday. Senior Ross Anstaett (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier Twp.) won the top singles flights in straight sets on Friday and Saturday.

Will Golinkin (Houston, Texas/Kincade) captured both his second flight singles matches in straight sets and joined Anstaett for a pair of wins on the top doubles spot.
