Devil Women Capture Centennial Opener With 9-0 Win


(Westminster, Md.) - The Dickinson College women's tennis team captured its Centennial Conference opener with a 9-0 victory at McDaniel College.

The Red Devils surrendered just two points in five singles matches while Alysia Rodgers (Bethesda, Md./Walter Johnson) andSarah Lindner (Warrenton, Va./Wakefield) posted an 8-0 decision in the top doubles spot.

Joelle Nitzberg (W. Windsor, N.J./W. Windsor-Plainsboro S.)earned a 6-0, 6-0 straight set win in the top singles flight.

The Red Devils improve to 5-3 overall. They host Ursinus College on Monday at 3:30 pm.
