HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Dickinson men's tennis suffered a 4-0 Centennial Conference loss to the 18th-ranked Fords of Haverford College on Saturday afternoon inside of Alumni Field House.
Doubles (Fords 3-0)
The second pair of
Florian Anderson and
Ryan Whiting were the only duo to win any games for the Red and White during the doubles portion of the match falling 6-2 to Teo Bortan and Zach Miano. The other two Dickinson teams of
Lucas Bogle and Eddle Chow (1st) as well as
Talon Baker and
Aidan MacIntosh (3rd) each suffered 6-0 setbacks.
Singles (Fords 3-0)
Haverford would go ahead 2-0 on the scoreboard when Niki Lavu downed Chow by scores of 6-1 and 6-1. Then, at the third slot Anderson fell by the same margin of 6-1, 6-1 to Justin Minerva. MacIntosh playing in the fourth flight was toppled in the first set 6-0 to Chait Krishna, before taking two games in a 6-2 loss during the second set. With the score 4-0 Fords, and only three matches left to play the contests involving Bogle (1st), Whiting (5th) and Baker (6th) were all brought to a half as their was no way for the Devils to get back into the match.

Dickinson (3-8, 0-2 Centennial) returns to action on Tuesday afternoon when they head to Collegeville to battle the Bears of Ursinus College in conference play beginning at 4pm.
