Inside The Match
The doubles point went the way of the Vikings, despite the Red Devils earning a doubles win in the third flight. The pairing of experienced senior Izzy Desjardins and the youthful first-year Chole Heller took down their opponent 6-4. Onto the singles, an impressive performance by sophomore Jenna Crain in the top flight awarded the point to the Red Devils. She took care of business in straight sets, 6-1, 7-5. Junior Alisa Steele as well as first-year Chole Heller both dropped their matches 6-3, 6-3. Natasha Sharnoff, Loretta Szych and Anabelle Armendarez were all unable to find a way past their Viking opponent, dropping the trio of matches in straight sets.
