Red Devils Claim Multiple NFHCA Awards

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. - The Dickinson field hockey team continued to see the academic accolades roll in as the Red and White had three players named Scholars of Distinction as well as claiming the National Team Academic Award as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) this week.

The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes that have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2024-25 academic year.

Senior Sammi Moonay earned the honor for the fourth straight year, while juniors Malena Malka Goldman and Natalie Slusser joined her on the list of more than 550 student-athletes that were recognized by the organization.

In addition to the three individual recognitions, the team also garnered the National Team Academic Award as the Red and White were one of 69 teams to receive the prestigious accolade which recognizes programs that have achieved a remarkable team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year.
