CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's cross country team returned to action on Friday evening by hosting the annual Little Three Championship featuring Franklin & Marshall College and Gettysburg College along with the Red and White.
Dickinson placed a pair of runners inside the Top-5 as
Meghan Higgins-Haas grabbed third with a time of 19:07.9, followed by
Myra Naqvi in fifth thanks to a 19:16.8. The duo of
Amiyah Priebe and
Maddie Garber claimed eighth (19:33.8) and ninth (19:34.3) respectively. Three more Devils earned spots within the Top-15 as Liza Barbash (13th - 20:04.4),
Breanna Franchak (13th - 20:09.6) and
Sophia Kovalski (15th - 20:10.7) collected those results.
Jillian McNulty rounded out the Top-20 with a 20:44.4, while
Devon Culberson landed in 25th (21:16.1). Abby Duffy (21:42.9),
Lauren Scott (21:47.9),
Emma Lewis (21:54.1),
Jenna Kerns (22:11.4),
Emma VanMeter (22:53.5) and
Ellie Drescher (24:28.0) all competed in the 5k event as well.
Unfortunately, for the Devils they were denied their 30th-straight Little Three title as Gettysburg claimed the crown with 23 points, followed by Dickinson on 37 and F&M at 75. Kathryn Hopkins for the Bullets posted a time of 18:54.9 to best the field.

Dickinson is back in action next Friday at the Shenandoah University Invitational at the Kernstown Battlefield in Winchester, Virginia. Race time is set for 6pm.
