LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Dickinson women's cross country team posted a sixth-place result out of 30 teams at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional hosted by Lycoming College at the West Branch Cross Country Course on the campus of Lock Haven University.
Maddie Garber was the highest finishing Devil on the six-kilometer course taking 14th with a time of 21:41.9.
Myra Naqvi was next to cross hitting the line in 22:13.9 for 31st.
Elizabeth Barbash landed in 52nd at 22:55.0, while
Breanna Franchak grabbed 57th (23:02.7). The trio of
Sophia Kovalski, Abby Duffy and
Jillian McNulty nabbed spots 90th (24:03.9), 94th (24:10.6) and 96th (24:19.0) in the 217 runner field.
Claire Anderson of Washington and Jefferson secured the win with a 21:04.9, while team title went to Centennial Conference foe Johns Hopkins University with 34 points thanks in large part to placing four athletes in the Top-10. The rest of the Top-10 in the team standings were made up Carnegie Mellon (76), Gettysburg (150), Grove City (153), Miericordia (192), Red Devils (241), St. Vincent (246), Salisbury (250), Scranton (261) and Elizabethtown (263).

The Red and White will now have to await the announcement of the NCAA Championship field to see if they can earn an at-large berth into the field next weekend in Terre Haute, Indiana.
