MONT ALTO, Pa. - The Dickinson women's volleyball team continued their solid play as of late by nabbing their sixth win out of the last seven matches storming past the Penn State Mont Alto Nittany Lions by a 3-0 score on Tuesday night inside the Mont Alto Gymnasium.
- Dickinson once again began strong with a pair of Barowski kills and solo scores by Currie, Davis, Kim and Thomas giving DC an 8-5 edge.
- A trio of Davis kills sparked a 6-2 Devils run making it 14-7.
- Following two PSU points, Lillian Bigsby joined Barowski, Currie, Davis, Kim and Whittaker on an 11-2 romp to cap the set 25-11.
- Things were deadlocked early at 9-9 with Barowski, Davis, Dofiles and Thomas accounting for the Red and White points.
- A pair of DC miscues moved the Lions ahead 10-9, but Katie Arcara, Emery Fishbach, Kate Passey, Willow Palmer and Thomas responded in a Big Way for the Devils as they took a 20-11 advantage.
- The trio of Shea Leber, Katie Sinks and Gracie Vaughn attempted to give PSU a lifeline by cutting the deficit down to 20-15.
- However, Barowski, Dofiles and Passey were too much as they captured five of the final six for the 25-16 win.Â
