(York, Pa.) – The Dickinson volleyball team dropped a non-conference match at York College on Wednesday night, falling 3-0 to the Spartans. The hosts won the opening set, 25-17, and posted back-to-back scores of 25-18 to claim the match.

The Red Devils had a strong start in the third and battled through the set until a late run closed out match.

First-year Tatiana Lopez (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico/Colegio Puertorriqueno de Ninas) matched a game-high with 18 digs while Emeline Jones (Hamilton, N.Y./Hamilton) reached double-figures with 10.

Norma Jean Park (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) and Jacqueline Banker (Rockaway Park, N.Y./Archbishop Malloy) each tallied eight.

Park led the Red Devils with seven kills as first-year setter Kristin Allgaier (Reston, Va./South Lakes) added 13 assists, three digs, two blocks and an ace.

York improves to 12-5 on the season while the Red Devils slip to 5-10 overall. Dickinson is in action again tomorrow night, traveling to Bryn Mawr College for a 7:00 pm start.
