O'Brien handed out an assist to junior Jennifer Morrissey (Rockville, Md./Good Counsel) to give the Devils another two-goal cushion.

Julia Fleming answered for the Bears before first-year Elizabeth Sitko (Pottstown, Pa./The Hill School) scored her second collegiate goal, off an assist from Stern, to put the Devils in front 5-3, with just over 16 minutes to play in the half.

Emma Ebert pulled Ursinus within one and Brynn Dietzel converted a free position with 7:24 to play, tying the game, 5-5. Dietzel put the Bears in front, early in the second half, netting the second of a natural hat-trick at the 26:18 mark. She completed the trick with 20:45 to play in the game, ending the scoring for next 17 minutes.

The Devils were held to just five shots in the second half while the Bears held a 3-1 advantage on draw controls. Ursinus closed out the game with a man-up goal from Dawson at the 3:09 mark for the final of 8:5.

Dawson and Dietzel each scored three goals for the Bears as they improve to 2-7 overall and 1-1 in the Centennial Conference. Margaret Philbin made eight saves on the day while Lisa Grous controlled five draws.

O'Brien and Stern each tallied a goal and an assist. JoJo Auerbach (Chevy Chase, Md./Bullis School) made one save in the first half while sophomore Tara Cuddihy (Basking Ridge, N.J./Ridge) came on to stop four shots in the second.
