Collin McMahon-Shea has been named the Centennial Conference Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
The native of Lexington, Massachusetts, won the Gettysburg Spring Shootout and tied for 15th place at the F&M Spring Invitational in a busy week for the Red Devils. The junior opened the Gettysburg Spring Shootout with a six-under 66 at Penn National Golf Club last Friday, which is tied for the eighth-best single-round score in Centennial Conference history. McMahon-Shea followed that up with a two-over 74 on Saturday, holding on for a three-shot win thanks to a two-day total of four-under 140 in a field of 54 golfers. At the F&M Spring Invitational on Monday, McMahon-Shea carded a two-over 73 to tie for 15th place among 65 competitors.Â
McMahon-Shea and the rest of the Red Devils return to action on Friday when they head down to Waynesboro Country Club in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania for the first of three days at the Centennial Conference Championship..
