READING, Pa. - The Dickinson men's golf team closed out a jam-packed four day stretch by taking third-place at the Alvernia University Invite at Ledgerock Golf Club on Tuesday afternoon.
Collin McMahon-Shea wrapped up his tournament by carding a 74 on the 6543-yard, par 72 course to finish in third-place.
Ryan Wheeler ended the competition in a tie for sixth after going 78, 79.
Jake Goldberg fired an 84 on Tuesday to go along with his 80 from Monday to post a 22nd-place finish.
William Griffith combined for a 168 (T-29th) over the two days by shooting rounds of 82 and 86. Erik Scheider knocked eight shots off his score from Monday going from 93 to 85 for a 178.
Timothy Peters from Division II Millersville University went 70-77 for a winning combined score of 147. He and the rest of his Marauder teammates shot a score of 622 to take the team title. The rest of the eight team field was made up of D2 Shepherd University (636), RED DEVILS (637), Alvernia University (646, Goucher College (648), D2 Bloomsburg University (654), Elizabethtown College (665) and Arcadia University (667).

Dickinson will next return to action on Monday, April 14th when they will do battle in the Stevenson University Spring Invite at Piney Branch Golf Course in Upperco, Maryland. Â
