Inside the Game
- Ursinus needed just two batters to take a 1-0 lead as Sam Mallen opened with a bunt single. She then swiped second, before crossing home when Anna Evanchik reached on an error. McMahon settled down quite nicely after that striking out the next three hitters.
- Dickinson tried to answer in the home-half when Jane Lloyd picked up a one-out single, but was not able to get home.Â
- The next two frames went by with neither side able to mount any kind of threat as the game entered the fourth still at 1-0. Ursinus would load the bags with two down thanks to a walk, hit batter and single from Mallen. However, McMahon got Evanchik to bounce into a fielder's choice which forced out Mallen at second.
- After Eden Blanker was hit by a pitch, Marah Goldman singled two batters later to put two on with one away. Unfortunately, Andrusiewicz got Lauren Routzahn to flyout and Abby Kohan to groundout sending the game to the fifth.
- In the sixth, with one on and two away, Evanchik stepped into the box. She walked and then Kayla Carr reached safely on an error allowing both runners to come across the plate as well for a 3-0 edge. Reagan Robinson attempted to add onto the advantage, but despite her single to right, Carr was thrown out at home retiring the side.
- The Bears notched two more runs during the seventh as with two down a walk, single and wild pitch had two in scoring position for Rachel Hartman. Both her and Mallen provided singles through the left-side making it 5-0, before McMahon got Evanchik on strikes to move things to the home-half.
- Kaylie Renner opened the frame with a single to left. Unfortunately, the next three hitters were setdown to end the game. Â

Inside the Game
- After a scoreless first two innings, the Bears came to bat in the top of the third trying to breakthrough against Kohan in the circle. Much like game one, UC used a two-out rally to get on the board as a walk to Evanchik was followed by a two-bagger for Carr and single off the bat of Robinson to make it 2-0.
- The Devils continued to battle against Wolf, but were not able to get anything going against the Bears starting pitching as she retired the Red and White in order in the third, prior to hitting McMahon with a pitch an inning later. However, she would record an inning-ending strikeout to keep the margin at 2-0 entering the fifth.
- Ursinus used two singles and a hit batter to fill the pillows with one away. Kohan then got Stephanie Wichman to popout to Blanker for the second out and gave the Devils a chance to get out of trouble. Unfortunately, Keelie Hancock then stepped up and sent the Kohan offering over the left-field wall extending the gap to 6-0 heading to the home-half.
- Dickinson got a one-out double into left-center by Kohan to try and give DC life, but consecutive pop-ups closed out the fifth.
- The last of seventh saw DC needing six runs to stay alive. Marah Goldman began things with a single, before two batters later Kohan notched her second two-bagger leaving runners at second and third with one gone. Renner followed with a sacrifice fly to left scoring Goldman, but Gwathmey lined out to Carr at third for the final out.
