LANCASTER, Pa. - After a solid second day at the Centennial Conference Championships the Dickinson women's swimming team has moved up a spot to fourth-place as the action concluded on Friday night at the Kunkel Aquatic Center on the campus of Franklin and Marshall College.
The evening session began with
Tori May grabbing eighth-place in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:14.67, while
Emma Johnston landed in 12th thanks to a 5:15.36.
Anna Gnagey went to work during the 200-yard individual medley and posted a time of 2:09.20 to claim 11th.Â
Another athlete took to the pool for the 50-yard freestyle as
Caitlin Gross secured a 12th-place finish after getting to the wall in 24.37
The night ended with the team of
Bella Gerkin, Gnagey, Gross and May taking fourth in the 400-yard medley relay thanks to a time of 3:55.87, while the other unit with
Madeline Dold,
Sydney Farling,
Sarah McHenry and Johnston reached the wall at 4:03.90 for 12th.
Team Scores
Swarthmore College continues to pace the standings with 379 points, followed by Gettysburg (303), Franklin and Marshall (173), RED DEVILS (139), Washington (Md.) (115), Ursinus (98), McDaniel (78) and Bryn Mawr (62).
Next on the Pool Deck
The Red and White return to action tomorrow morning at 10am for the preliminary session, before heading back to the Kunkel Aquatic Center for the Day Three finals of the CC Championship beginning at 6pm.
