WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Dickinson women's swimming team closed out the regular season in grand style on Saturday afternoon winning all but one race on the day as the Red and White knocked off the host McDaniel College Green Terror by a score of 70-23 inside of Harlow Pool in a Centennial Conference dual meet.
The Red and White began the day with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as the team of
Madeline Dold,
Sydney Farling,
Sarah McHenry and
Sarah Mulcahy posted a 2:00.07.
Tori May and
Bella Gerkin went "one-two" during the 1000-yard freestyle with times of 11:01.01 and 12:11.86 respectively.
Izzy Klonsky made her first event a memorable one as she won the 200-yard freestyle by clocking in at 2:07.90, followed by Farling in second (2:09.73).
Dickinson would have to settle for second and fourth during the 50-yard freestyle thanks to
Meghan Schmidt (27.24) and
Annelyse Warner (30.13).
Emma Johnston was triumphant in the 400-yard individual medley by getting to the wall in 4:49.94.
The Red and White continued their winning ways during the 200-yard butterfly with Mulcahy posting a 2:24.20
May nabbed her second win of the meet in the 100-yard freestyle posting a 57.74, while Isobell O'Connell grabbed third (59.91).
The Devils just kept on racking up the victories during the 100-yard backstroke thanks to McHenry and her 1:06.18.
Another "one-two" finish for DC was secured for the 500-yard freestyle as Johnston earned the victory at 5:29.33, followed by Schmidt (5:41.24).
McHenry and Dold had a great swim in the 100-yard breaststroke taking first (1:18.14) and second (1:18.40) respectively.
The day ended with another Dickinson triumph as the unit of Johnston, May, O'Connell and Schmidt won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a 1:48.00.

Dickinson (7-4, 3-4 Centennial) now turns their attention to the Centennial Conference Championships which will begin on Thursday, February 20th in Lancaster, Pennsylvania at Franklin & Marshall College.
