GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Dickinson men's swimming team returned to action on Friday night for Session One of the Gettysburg College Invite. The Red and White were strong on the evening with one individual win and multiple Top-10 results.
The night began with the team of
Jack Engel,
Daulton Kendall,
Samson Qu and
Justin Wong grabbing second with a time of 1:24.15, while the second DC team of
Nolan Chenot,
Frederico Colloca-Bianchi,
Alexander Kanard and
Andrew Kelley seized seventh thanks to a 1:27.88.
Aidan Keillor was the first Devil to complete the 500-yard freestyle as his 4:47.84 landed him in eighth. Four other members of the Red and White finished within the Top-20 as Kanard earned 13th (4:54.39),
Damon Buchanan landed in 15th (4:56.86),
Benjamin Brandt claimed 17th (4:58.08) and
Matthew Ferenz rounded out the group in 20th (4:59.94).Â
A quartet of Red and White athletes earned Top-10 slots for the 200-yard individual medley led by Wright in fourth (1:53.76), Kelley followed right behind in fifth (1:57.55).
Lukas Nier and
Paul Florio finished off the group by taking ninth (2:00.37) and tenth (2:01.57) respectively.
Joe Apat also took part in the event earning 13th (2:02.30).
Dickinson occupied first and third during the 50-yard freestyle with Qu winning the event thanks to a 20.75, followed by Kendall at 21.10. Wong also earned a Top-10 place as his 21.74 claimed ninth. Engel was the next Devil to clock in with a 21.84 (13th). Colloca-Bianchi and
Jace Pedicone also competed in the race taking 21st (22.75) and 22nd (22.88).
The Devils nabbed another podium finish to end the session with the team of Kendall, Qu, Wong and Wright nabbing second in the 400-yard medley relay, while the other DC group with Chenot, Colloca-Bianchi, Kanard and Kelley stopping the timer at 3:33.77 for seventh.

The Red and White return to Bullets Pool tomorrow morning at 10am, before coming back at 5pm for the third and final session of the Gettysburg College Invite.
