WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Dickinson men's golf team was back in action on Sunday afternoon for Day One of The Melee Tournament hosted by Premier Collegiate Tournaments at Ford's Colony Country ClubÂ
As has been the case most of the fall season for the Red and White
Collin McMahon-Shea was the lowest score on the day firing a two-over 74 on the 6954-yard, par 72 course. The first-year duo of
William Griffith and
Jake Johnson were strong as well carding 75 and 76 respectively.
Ryan Wheeler ended with an 80, while
Carl Williams closed out on a 82.
Teammates Avery Cohen and Elliot Parker from Drew University along with Hogan Schulze from Centennial Conference foe McDaniel College sit in a three-way tie for the individual lead at 71. Drew currently has the edge for the team crown as well after combining for a 288. They are joined in the Top-10 by: McDaniel (292), RED DEVILS (305), Bridgewater (307), Kean (313), Alvernia (314), Arcadia and Goucher (315), Shenandoah (316) and Virginia Wesleyan (323).

Dickinson will return to Ford's Colony Country Club tomorrow morning for Day Two of The Melee Tournament.
