CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson men's swimming team returned to the pool on Wednesday night in search of their third straight win. It would come down to the final race of meet for the Red and White to secure a slim 103-102 non-conference win over the visiting York College of Pennsylvania inside the Clarke Aquatic Center.
The home side began the night with a second-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay with the team of
Frederico Colloca-Bianchi,
Andrew Kelley,
Daulton Kendall and
Justin Wong clocking in at 3:41.41, while the group of
Nolan Chenot,
Jack Engel,
Henry Lease and
Daniel Vasquez landing in third (3:50.23).
Aidan Keillor led a quartet of Devils competing in 1000-yard freestyle getting to the wall in 10:45.87 for second, followed by
Ben Lilly (3rd - 10:50.44) and
Benjamin Brandt (4th - 10:56.52).
Sam Strieb rounded out the group in sixth (12:10.46).Â
Two members of the Red and White finished in the Top-3 of the 200-yard freestyle as
James Wright won the event in 1:47.94 with
Alexander Kanard taking third (1:52.37). Engel posted a mark of 1:58.60 to claim fourth.
Dickinson took up spots two through four for the 50-yard freestyle thanks to Kendall (22.24), Wong (23.00) and
Aaron Stern (23.41).
Vasquez picked up another win for the home side during the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:03.71, while
Paul Florio locked up third (2:05.89). Lease completed the competing Devils by getting to the wall in 2:10.44 for fourth.
Chenot earned a Top-3 place in the 100-yard butterfly as his time of 54.54 to grab second. Kelley and Engel also took part in the event taking fifth (55.73) and sixth (1:00.50).
Wright rounded out the Top-3 for the 100-yard freestyle thanks to clocking in at 49.10, followed by Lilly (4th - 55.16) and Strieb (5th - 57.48).
Dickinson finished second and third in the 100-yard backstroke with Colloca-Bianchi claiming second (55.74), while the duo of Florio and Vasquez ended in a deadlock with both posting a 58.61.
The Red and White nabbed another second and third-place result during the 500-yard freestyle thanks to Keillor (5:04.85) and Kanard (5:05.80). Brandt locked up fourth with his 5:17.52.Â
For the third straight event the home side landed in second through fourth this time courtesy of Wong (1:03.37), Lease (1:04.62) and Chenot (1:05.74).
To round out the meet the group of Kanard, Kelley, Kendall and Wright won the 400-yard freestyle relay by clocking in at 3:16.03, while the unit of Brandt, Colloca-Bianchi, Keillor and Stern occupied third (3:27.58).

Dickinson (4-5) gets back to work on Saturday at 1pm when they head to Swarthmore College for a conference matchup with the Garnet.
