CARLISLE, Pa. - The Dickinson women's tennis team secured their second 9-0 victory of the season by dominating the visiting McDaniel College Green Terror on Friday afternoon at the Hays Tennis Courts.
Doubles (DEVILS 3-0)
The pair of
Dana Kleinman and
Molly Michel had one of the easiest matches of the day winning by default at the third slot. In the number one spot, the first-year duo of
Jenna Crain and Sara Jakitsch allowed one game to Carly Jarkiewicz and Rachel Smith, before claiming the 8-1 victory.
Anabelle Armendarez and
Maddie Lindquist overcome Claire Hopkins and Mackenzie McCarter by a scoreline of 8-2.
Singles (DEVILS 6-0)
Armendarez picked up her second victory of the day, by default in the sixth spot. The trio of Crain (1st), Michel (3rd) and
Bonnie Thomas (5th) all cruised in their matches securing 6-0, 6-0 triumphs.
Alisa Steele in the second slot and Kleinman at four both took care of Smith and Hopkins respectively by identical 6-0, 6-1 scores.
Next on the Court
Dickinson (2-0) will now have to wait until Sunday, October 8th when they travel down to Baltimore for the all-day Goucher College Invitational.
