Inside the Devils Den
Fireside Review - DEVILS 40, McDaniel 20 (Westminster, Md.. - Gill Stadium)
The Devils posted 20 points each in the first and third quarters en route to a comfortable 40-20 Centennial Conference win over the host McDaniel College on a wet and rainy day in Maryland. Two Presley Egbers runs of 20 and five yards respectively gave Dickinson a 13-0 lead with five minutes left in the first. The Red and White were not done however as Diante Ball took a handoff and raced 78-yards to paydirt and the 20-0 edge through 15 minutes. After a one-yard Trent Gaskins TD cut the deficit to 20-7 at half, Ball found the endzone twice in the third once through the air (85 yards) and once more on the ground from (63 yards) extending the advantage out to 33-7 with not even four minutes gone in the frame. An 80-yard TD pass by Angel Granado brought the home side back on the board, before Egbers completed his hat trick with his third TD rush of the game making it 40-14. Gaskins would add a touchdown reception on the final play of the game to set the 40-20 result.

The Offensive General
Quarterback Presley Egbers had a strong afternoon against McDaniel despite the sloppy conditions going 10-for-18 racking up 213 yards with one TD and a pick. For the season, Egbers is 81-of-161 supassing the 1000-yard mark at 1032 recording eight touchdowns posting a 114.34 quarterback rating, to go along with five picks.

The Devils were led by a two-headed rushing attack versus the Green Terror as Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week Diante Ball carried ten times for 163 yards (0 yards lost) to finish the day with a 16.3 yards per carry average, which included a pair of TD runs. Egbers got it done on the ground as well scampering six times racking up 56 yards and three touchdowns. The group of Noah Boyd, Rocco DiRico, Princeton Douglass and Adam Smith combined for 18 carries and 76 yards. With four games remaining Ball has a chance to post his second straight 1000-yard plus season as he currently sits at 683 yards on 124 touches which has him averaging a conference-best 113.8 yards per game.

Pass Catchers
Egbers found seven different weapons on Saturday, including a team-high 104 yards to Ball who needed just two grabs to break the century mark and pick up a TD. The duo of Devlin McCool and Douglass racked up six catches and 88 yards. Keesean Campbell, Matt Maiona, Bobby Markey and Calder Shanks each recorded a reception as well.

Defense Helps as Well
