(Carlisle, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's swim team improved to 5-1 on the season, posting a 132-72 win over visiting McDaniel College on Saturday afternoon.

First-year Kevin Potocki (Fayetteville, N.Y./Jamesville Dewitt) led the way with a triple-win, claiming the 50 and 100 freestyle events, and swimming the anchor leg of the winning 200 medley relay. He posted times of 22.84 and 50.06 in the sprints and touched the wall in 1:40.48 in the relay.

Classmate Ben Shapiro (Wynnewood, Pa./Friends Central) had another strong outing, swimming the lead leg of the medley relay and winning the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:02.24. He added a second place showing in the 100 backstroke with a mark of 55.70.

Junior Alex Bennett (Baltimore, Md./Loyola Blakefield) earned first-place points in the 200 freestyle (1:49.81) and with the 200 free relay. He was second in the 500 freestyle, posting a mark of 5:14.53.

Sophomore Mitch Reynolds (Frederick, Md./Frederick) swam to silver in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:16.60 and claimed bronze in the 500 with a time of 5:07.06.

First-year Kiernan Jordan (Dumfries, Va./Forest Park) was a double-winner, joining the medley relay and touching the wall first in the 100 butterfly with a time of 53.76. Junior Sam Eaton (Port Matilda, Pa./State College Area) rounded out the medley relay and was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.87).

Senior Alan Karickhoff (Willoughby, Ohio/Hawken School) turned in a strong performance, earning second place finishes in the 100 and 200 freestyle while joining the free relay for a win. First-year Allen Belo (Odenton, Md./Severn School) anchored the free relay and clocked a time of 23.03 to claim second in the 50 free.

The Red Devils improve to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the Centennial Conference. They travel to Washington College next Saturday for a 2:00 pm start.
