(Bryn Mawr, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's basketball team turned in a dominant performance at Bryn Mawr, posting an, 85-24 win, over the Owls.
The Red Devils were strong from the start, scoring the first 17 points of the game en route to a 51-9 advantage at halftime. The Red Devils had held the Owls to just six points in the opening half before a three-pointer from Adrianna Castilla-Hernandez in the final minute.
Dickinson steadily built the lead over the course of the second half as five Red Devils would reach double-figures.
Junior Liz Schultz (Dunmore, Pa./Scranton Prep) led the way with a game-high 16 points, hitting 6-of-8 shots and 4-of-5 free throws. She added four assists has the Devils tallied helpers on 26-of-33 field-goals on the afternoon.
Classmate Sarah Phillips (West Amwell, N.J./South Hunterdon) scored 15 points to go with seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. First-years Mary Martin (Honesdale, N.Y./Honesdale) and Helen Roberts (Oakton, Va./Oakton) each scored 11 points and combined for 11 rebounds. Martin tallied a game-high five steals and handed out three assists while Roberts dished out four assists and made a pair of steals.
Sophomore Rachel Sisco (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) added 10 points, four assists and two steals as well.
Nicolette Parmese led Bryn Mawr (1-12) with 15 points and seven rebounds, going 9-for-11 from the free throw line.
The Red Devils return to Centennial Conference action on Tuesday, traveling to Muhlenberg College for a 7:30 tip-off. They return home next Saturday for the season finale against Franklin & Marshall.
