Biography

Field of Study at Dickinson: Biochemistry

High School and Club Info: Attended and competed at Pine-Richland High School in Pennsylvania where she was a multi-sport athlete for the Rams participating in cross country, swimming and track & field. With the cross country program she earned a spot in the state meet three years in a row and helped the team to a pair of WPIAL runner-ups. Also, excels in the classroom after being named an AP Scholar with Distinction.

Family Info: Daughter of Denise and Mark Franchak. Mother was a collegiate swimmer at Division II Clarion University, while father played college baseball at Indiana.
