Dickinson College Director of Athletics Celine Cunningham is pleased to announce the hiring of Cole Sutton as the new head coach of both the men's and women's tennis teams. Sutton the 2019 graduate of Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont arrives in Carlisle after spending the past two seasons as the assistant coach at Division I Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland.

During his pair of campaigns with the Greyhounds, he helped both programs to a pair of Patriot League playoff appearances. He also aided in guiding the 2023-24 women's team to their highest ever seed in the Patriot League tournament.  In addition, Sutton helped to oversee the day-to-day running of the Loyola University tennis program by organizing team practices, scheduling one-on-one training with athletes outside of practice time and created and executed an extensive recruiting plan in an attempt to attract potential athletes to the Charm City.

Prior to heading to Loyola, Sutton was the assistant coach at The Gilman School in Maryland where he helped the varsity boys team to back-to-back Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association titles in 2021 and 2022.

When asked about what he wants Red Devil Nation to know about himself Sutton said "from the first day I step on campus I will do everything in my power both to build a winning culture within both teams on the court as well as provide my players with the best student-athlete experience possible." He went on to add "I hope to build a community and family around the two programs that will last well beyond graduation. I cannot wait to get on the courts with the players and get to work!"
