The two-story, 22,000-square-foot Durden Athletic Training Center was named to honor the commitment and dedication of President William G. Durden ’71 and Dr. Elke Durden, who presided over some of the most successful years of athletics in the history of the college from 1999-2013. Opened in January of 2014, the Durden Center features pro-style locker rooms for field hockey, football, men’s and women’s lacrosse, coaches, officials, and visiting teams.

The Durden includes a varsity strength-training and free-weight room, sports-medicine facilities, laundry and equipment rooms, a historical exhibition area, and a team-meeting/event conference room with a viewing platform overlooking the Biddle Field Complex.
