PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Dickinson men's squash team ended their Rhode Island trip on a high note on Sunday morning as the Red and White knocked off the 27th-ranked Camels of Conn College by a score of 6-3. This will end the fall semester schedule for a Red Devils team that is waiting for reinforcements in January.
Inside the Match
The Red Devils came out strong in the first wave of matches, winning five of the first six matches, to seal the win early on in the tie. First-years Noah George and Menghou Du won the first two matches of the day in the third and seventh flights in three games. Sophomore Aidan Donnan gave the red and white their third win, with a comfortable three game victory in the ninth flight. Senior captain Aidan Ray had to hold off a late charge in the fifth flight; after going up two games to love, he needed five games to earn victory number four. Junior Adam Warburton locked up the overall victory for the Red Devils with a win in the eighth flight, defeating Andrew Nemphos in four games. Graduate student Sam Knipp also locked up a win in the fourth flight in four games.
