GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Dickinson women's swimming team rounded out their final competitive action until 2025 on Saturday afternoon by breaking a few records and collecting numerous Top-10 finishes en route to a third-place finish at the Gettysburg College Invite inside of Bullets Pool.

The day began with the team of Sydney Farling, Anna Gnagey, Caitlin Gross and Izzy Klonsky taking fourth in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:50.17, while the other Dickinson unit with Madeline Dold, Bella Gerkin, Sarah McHenry and Sarah Mulcahy finishing eighth (1:52.45).

Tori May nabbed the first podium spot for the Red and White landing in second during the 400-yard individual medley getting to the wall in 4:36.59.

A trio of Devils posted Top-10 finishes for the 100-yard butterfly with Gnagey winning the event at 57.79, while Mulcahy and Klonsky earned ninth (1:00.63) and tenth (1:01.41).

Gross rounded out the Top-10 in the 200-yard freestyle after getting to the wall in 2:00.12. Meghan Schmidt nabbed 16th with a 2:02.47, followed by Dold in 20th (2:05.78).

Two members of the Red and White went to the pool for the 100-yard breaststroke with Farling claiming seventh (1:09.60) and Gerkin collecting 12th (1:10.40).

McHenry was the lone Devil to compete during the 100-yard backstroke posting a mark of 1:00.07 to just miss out on the podium finishing in fourth.

Dickinson ended the morning session with a fourth place result in the 800-yard freestyle relay as the team of Gnagey, Klonsky, May and Schmidt clocked in at 8:08.96.

The evening session began with May competing for the 1650-yard freestyle title. She came quite close to claiming victory, but had to settle for second (17:42.95).

Gnagey grabbed her second win of the day during the 200-yard backstroke besting the field with a time of 2:07.05, while McHenry finished off the Top-10 by getting to the wall in 2:13.88.

A trio went to work in the 100-yard freestyle with Gross just missing the Top-5 landing in sixth (54.18), followed by Schmidt in 13th (55.94) and Dold at 16th (56.39).

Farling earned eighth-place during the 200-yard breaststroke after stopping the clock at 2:32.70, which beat out teammate Gerkin by four slots (2:36.04).

Two Devils finished within the Top-10 of the 200-yard butterfly as Mulcahy completed the podium with a 2:13.02, while Klonsky grabbed ninth (2:19.75).

The meet concluded with Dickinson taking third in the 400-yard freestyle relay with the team of Dold, Gross, May and Schmidt clocking in at 3:40.46. The other unit for the Red and White of Farling, Gerkin, Klonsky and McHenry earned ninth (3:52.75).

Team Scores
The host Gettysburg College took home the title with 1043 points, followed by Montclair State (780), RED DEVILS (489.5), Shippensburg (410.5), Scranton (362), Bryn Mawr (301) and Millersville (5)

Special Notes

• The Devils broke three school records over the weekend.
  • 200-yard freestyle relay team of Dold, Gnagey, Gross and May

Next on the Pool Deck
The Red and White will now take an extended break for the holiday season as they will not return to competitive action until Wednesday, January 15th when they take on both Hood College and York College of Pennsylvania. The meet will begin at 5:30pm at York College.
