(Chestertown, Md.) – The Dickinson women's swim team, competing for the second straight day, posted a 128-77 win at Washington College on Sunday afternoon.
Senior Caitlin Klockner (Acton, Mass./Acton-Boxborough Regional) was a triple-winner, claiming the 100 (54.51) and 200 (1:57.69) yard freestyle events, and anchoring the winning 400 free relay.
First-year Katie Schmidt (Orono, Minn./Breck School) won three events as well, joining the medley and free relays, and claiming the 200 backstroke in 2:12.61.
Classmate Olivia Lyman (Mount Kisco, N.Y./Horace Greeley) touched the wall first in the 1000 and 500 yard freestyle events, posting times of 10:39.46 and 5:13.89. She placed second in the 200 with a mark of 1:57.94. Sophomore Brenna Nimkoff (Weston, Conn./Weston) swam to second in the 1000 and 500, posting times of 10:58.70 and 5:33.01.
First-year Sammy Boswell (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) was a double-winner, anchoring the 400 medley relay to a time of 4:14.19 and winning the 50 freestyle in 25.78. She was second in the 100 free with a time of 56.19.
Junior Emily Houser (Fort Washington, Pa./Upper Dublin) earned wins with the relays and placed third in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:18.84. Jacqulyn Teller (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) joined the medley relay, placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:39.69) and third in the 200 individual medley (2:21.67).
Senior Katie Nirenberg (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) and first-year Tess Kulikowski (McLean, Va./Sidwell Friends) claimed second and third in the 200 butterfly, clocking times of 2:27.38 and 2:29.53.
Shannon Bonner (Schecksville, Pa./Parkland) swam the third leg of the free relay and sophomore Devon Korhammer (Easton, Pa./Moravian Academy) finished third in the 50 freestyle (27.69).
The Red Devils improve to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the Centennial Conference. They return home to host Gettysburg College on Wednesday night at 7:00 pm.
