(Bloomsburg, Pa.) – The Dickinson women's swim team suffered its second straight setback, falling at Division II Bloomsburg University, 112-82, on Friday night.
First-year Olivia Lyman (Mount Kisco, N.Y./Horace Greeley) posted a pair of wins, touching the wall first in the 200 and 500 freestyle events. She clocked a time of 1:58.33 in the 200 and 5:13.61 in the distance event.
Sophomore Brenna Nimkoff (Weston, Conn./Weston) placed second in the 500 with a time of 5:22.07 and swam to third in the 1,000 with a mark of 11:03.89. First-year Katie Schmidt (Orono, Minn./Breck School) came in third in the 500 (5:23.71) and placed fourth in the 1,000.
Senior Caitlin Klockner (Acton, Mass./Acton-Boxborough Regional) led-off the winning free relay and added third place finishes in the 200 individual medley and the medley relay.
Junior Jacqulyn Teller (Woodbury, N.Y./Syosset) won the 100 breaststroke and placed third with the medley relay. Classmate Tanita Leary (Larchmont, N.Y./Mamaroneck) joined the free relay and finished third in the 100 butterfly.
First-year Gaby Fleming (Chester, Va./Maggie Walker Governors) placed second in the 100 breaststroke while Sammy Boswell (Linwood, N.J./Mainland Regional) anchored the free relay, placed third in the 100 freestyle and fourth in the 50 free.
The Red Devils return home to face Bryn Mawr College on Friday night and welcome the University of Scranton on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
