(Lancaster, Pa.) – The Dickinson men's squash team dropped just its third match of the season, falling to #22-ranked Bowdoin College at Franklin & Marshall on Sunday afternoon.
Abdelrahman Elsergany (Cairo, Egypt/Kent School) earned the Devils' first point, claiming the top flight (11-5, 11-8, 11-2). First-year Hal Holappa (New Canaan, Conn./New Canaan) captured the third flight, winning a five-set battle.
He dropped the first set, 12-10, but took a 2-1 lead with scores of 11-9 and 11-8. Alex Reisley pulled even with an 11-8 win before Holappa closed out the match, 11-6.
Cory Litman (Lower Marion, Pa./Lower Marion) lost a tough match in the fourth flight. He trailed 2-0 after a tight 12-10, second set. He answered, winning the third, 12-10, but Benjamin Bristol held on with an 11-8 fourth set. Nicholas Struzenski (Wellesley, Mass./Wellesley) dropped a four-set match as well.
The Red Devils slip to 8-3 overall. They return to action on December 5th, traveling to Haverford College to face Tufts University at 12:30 pm.
