The Diplomats ran the advantage to 18-8, with 5:41 remaining in the first half. Senior guard Adam Honig (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Greeley ) knocked-down a pair of three-pointers in the final minute to pull the Red Devils within nine, 28-19, at the break.

Honig opened the second half with a three-pointer and converted a steal into a lay-up to quickly cut the lead to four, 28-24, with just one minute off the clock in the second half.

The Diplomats went to work again, pulling in front, 35-25, at the 15:16 mark. They built the lead to as many as 18, but Dickinson would not go away, continuing to battle back into the game.

The Red Devils put together a 14-7 run, to cut the deficit to 11, with just 2:58 remaining in the game.

The Diplomats used strong free throw shooting down the stretch to secure the win, hitting 11 of their final 12 attempts in the final 1:36 of the game.

Matt Porter led the Diplomats (17-8, 13-5) with 26 points and nine rebounds while Jon Salandra added 21 points and eight rebounds. Cedric Moune controlled the boards early on, finishing with 14 rebounds and eight points.

Honig finished with a game-high 27 points on the night, adding a pair of assists and two steals. Brandon Angradi (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) and Chris Cox (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills West) each chipped in with six points.

The Red Devils slip to 20-5 overall and 15-3 in the Centennial Conference. They will be the top-seed and host the Centennial Conference Championship at the Kline Center next weekend. The semifinals will be at 6:00 and 8:00 pm on Friday, with the winners advancing to the final at 7:00 pm on Saturday night.
